In October 2009, I discovered the delights of The Cambrian Way, a 275 mile walk across Wales, Cardiff Castle to Conwy Castle, involving 18,000m of climbing. I walked the first half, to Aberwystwth, in the Autumn, and did the rest the following Spring.
